Light Blue 2024.1.3 release notes

We’ve just released Light Blue 2024.1.3, which is a minor update that adds new features and fixes bugs reported since we launched Light Blue 2024.1. It includes the following changes:

• Added “Last 18 months” and “Last 24 months” time period options to charts.
• Added a “Next Payment Amount” column to the Aged Debts report.
• Added a grand totals row to the Aged Debts report.
• Added new ContactTag and ShootTag API parameters.
• You can now reassign a selection of multiple tasks to a different member of staff from the Activity panel.
• Added a “Download File…” contextual menu option to email template and email attachment lists.
• When you create an appointment from the Calendar section, a “Cancel” button is displayed instead of the “Next” and “Previous” buttons.
• Importing a ProSelect order that’s been marked as paid in ProSelect now sets the payment method for those payments in Light Blue.
• Tasks published from Light Blue to the macOS Reminders app now create all-day reminders, instead of reminders scheduled for 09:00.
• If you’ve set up a member of staff to have access to charts and reports, but not the Quotes, Sales, Purchases, and Payments sections, they no longer have access to charts or reports that show any financial information.
• On Windows, opening the discount dialog from the Sales and Quotes section now sets the focus to the discount percentage field.
• When creating email from the Activity tab, quotes, sales, purchases, and payments now use the linked contact’s email address.
• Duplicating a quote that isn’t using tax-inclusive pricing and has a custom booking fee now duplicates that booking fee’s tax as expected.
• Contract confirmation email attachments now show the expected filename when displayed in our desktop and mobile apps.
• Fixed a bug where the “Upload File…” and “Download File…” contextual menu commands in the Document Templates section of the Preferences window were confused.
• Fixed a bug where the “Find Duplicate Contacts” command does not close its progress bar when there are no duplicate contacts.
• Fixed a bug where the floating version of the SMS window doesn’t show the phone number selection menu for workflow messages.
